
Mehmet Günce Akkoyun
I am Günce Akkoyun. I work in electronics and software engineering; primarily developing production-oriented hardware projects, focusing on IoT, agricultural technologies, and industrial automation. For many years, I have been actively involved in every step of the product development process, from ideation to mass production.
My experience in project definition, R&D management, electronics design, embedded software, PCB development, mechanical design, prototype manufacturing, and testing processes has enabled the creation of many products for both my own projects and industrial clients. I value developing functional, reliable systems that solve real field needs by combining manufacturing discipline with engineering principles.
Beyond these, I am a husband, a father, and someone who values teaching as much as learning. My desire to create, my curiosity, and my motivation to share knowledge form the foundation of both my professional approach and personal journey.
Areas of Expertise
Electronic Hardware Design
I design high-precision, industrial-grade PCBs in the electronic hardware field. I focus on analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, sensor integrations, and isolated energy measurement architectures (professional solutions like MAX78630). I also have a strong engineering approach to making hardware suitable for mass production, cost optimization, and long-term field durability.
IoT & System Architecture
I develop the system architectures behind IoT projects using Python and Node.js ecosystems. I design scalable microservice architectures in async-based structures and build real-time data processing infrastructures with modern technologies like FastAPI, Kafka, Redis, and PostgreSQL. I have extensive experience in device-server communication protocols and data security.
Agricultural Technologies and Automation
In the field of agricultural technologies, I focus on remote-controlled irrigation systems, field automation solutions, energy consumption analysis, and reactive power management. I develop IoT-based environmental data collection systems and produce practical, durable, and user-friendly solutions for real problems farmers face in the field. My products are built on engineering principles validated through long-term field testing.
Major Projects I'm Working On
As a result of my production-oriented engineering approach, I develop projects in many different fields. Chief among these is the PowerStat system I designed for agricultural and industrial enterprises; bringing together critical functions such as energy analysis, remote control, and automation on a single platform to provide solutions to real field needs. In addition, my WeatherStat microclimate observation stations enable reliable collection of environmental data with low-power sensor architectures.
